Interactive Designer with five years experience to be responsible for the layout, visual appearance, website and usability of multiple online platforms. Ideal candidates will have experience at other online transactional websites or agencies with high-profile education brands /projects; have internet design experience as well as being fluent in HTML/CSS and Adobe CS4 design software. Must have the ability to push the envelope from a creative/conceptual standpoint and manage the brand. Manage projects from concept to completion within aggressive timeframes.

Requirements

- 5+ years web design experience

- Some experience with HTML/CSS code

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 4

- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

- Strong web design skills in information architecture, site mapping, wire framing, navigation, and search engine optimization

- Demonstrated interest in and a full understanding of the Internet; thoroughly understands the web's culture 

- Demonstrated design portfolio with projects focused on websites, email, banner ads

- Ability to work under pressure in an environment of shifting priorities and change

- Strong operational abilities, able to develop and execute tactics and execution plans with a bias for action and sense of urgency and strong work ethic.

Nice to Have

- Skills with JavaScript, DHTML, Flash, Firefox and Visual Studio 2008 are a plus.

- Prior experience working in a fast-paced start up environment.

- Experience with SEO, Email campaigns, Banner Advertisements, etc.

- Online Education industry experience
