Position Overview

 

This position works closely with the business and end users to resolve their daily application issues and system performance of the WMS software product from Manhattan Associates.  Application support analyst troubleshoots and develops technical solutions related to software, environmental, configuration and setup errors.  Creates workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion.  Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal development resources.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a support organization.  The individual in this role is capable of dealing with very complex software coding, configuration and maintenance issues in order to achieve a negotiated level of service for the business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Plan installation of all software maintenance patches, new releases

Plan analysis and implementation of future functionality usage within the WMOS product in concert with business users and team members 

Ensure that adequate information regarding maintenance patches and new releases is communicated to front line support providers 

Provide point of contact for business to request triage and troubleshooting for it’s processes as required 

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with enterprise level Warehouse Management System (WMS) software is required.
  • Previous experience with the administration of Manhattan Systems Warehouse Management Open System is desired, but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years technical experience is required.
  • High School degree is required.
